There is no lift in the building and no other apartment on this floor. <br>
The building is 50 years old and although a very well built and a beautiful it is not in great condition although the Administration are painting it and investing in it, slowly! <br>

The terrace has a large jacuzzi which 4 people can use comfortably and this is completely private and fills with hot water in less than 20 minutes (just serviced). The apartment has a short hallway, opening into the kitchen with Silver Ariston Stove and Ariston Dishwasher and Gafa Silver Fridge Freezer. The main room comprises of a large living room with a massive window and an area best described as an office but it is all one room. A large sliding door takes you out to the terrace. The bathroom has a shower with overhead jet and body jets (Scottish Style) with bidet and toilet in ultra modern design. There is a separate water pump giving exceptionally powerful water pressure. The bedroom comfortably holds a bed of 2 meters x 2 meters and there is a further dressing room off the bedroom. There is a sliding door from the bedroom onto the terrace. <br>

The design is extremely modern and minimal. There are many windows and huge amounts of sunlight. There are black out blinds throughout the apartment. Everything is of the highest quality. An alarm is fitted but the apartment does not have metal bars anywhere on the windows or doors. The apartment also has a services area (hidden at the side of the terrace) which holds a washing machine, a dryer, a very large watertank (for the Jacuzzi) and a a separate water heater for the radiators which have been renovated and are in painted silver throughout the apartment. <br>

There is a Whirlpool AirCon 4500 Hot/Cold Split in the living room. The floor of the apartment is in special cement mixture and is a very dark grey almost black. It can be changed by painting it with the correct type of paint. The terrace has the original tiles and the architects advise not to change these. <br>

Extending the apartment is only possible with a glass and metal structure. Annual tax 590 pesos and monthly expenses are 160 pesos right now.

Casas de Soledad is a fabulous property in Las Cruces, New Mexico. (see what I mean at www.casasdesoledad.com). Its amenities are the best. We have owned this property for 3 years now and find that with all that has happened in the past two years we will be unable to use it as much as we would like to. So, we'd like to find another like-minded couple to own half of it with us. We have had it rented for some of the past three years but tenants tend to wear down the unit so we prefer to stop doing that. We have a wonderful tenant now that will be there for about 9 - 10 months but if you are thinking of part-time retirement next year (2010) maybe this is something that will fit into your plans.

We are also thinking that when neither of us are using the condo it be enjoyed by friends and family or simply left vacant. Just 1 block from Santa Fe and the Subway Station Carranza. It is a quiet street with cobblestone paving and no buses pass along it. This is on the third floor and is reached by stairs. There is no lift in the building and no other apartment on this floor. The building is 50 years old and although a very well built and a beautiful it is not in great condition although the Administration are painting it and investing in it, slowly! <br>

The terrace has a large jacuzzi which 4 people can use comfortably and this is completely private and fills with hot water in less than 20 minutes (just serviced). The apartment has a short hallway, opening into the kitchen with Silver Ariston Stove and Ariston Dishwasher and Gafa Silver Fridge Freezer. The main room comprises of a large living room with a massive window and an area best described as an office but it is all one room. A large sliding door takes you out to the terrace. The bedroom comfortably holds a bed of 2 meters x 2 meters and there is a further dressing room off the bedroom. There is a sliding door from the bedroom onto the terrace. <br>

The design is extremely modern and minimal. There are many windows and huge amounts of sunlight. There are black out blinds throughout the apartment. <br>
Everything is of the highest quality. An alarm is fitted but the apartment does not have metal bars anywhere on the windows or doors. The apartment also has a services area (hidden at the side of the terrace) which holds a washing machine, a dryer, a very large watertank (for the Jacuzzi) and a a separate water heater for the radiators which have been renovated and are in painted silver throughout the apartment. <br>

There is a Whirlpool AirCon 4500 Hot/Cold Split in the living room. <br>

The floor of the apartment is in special cement mixture and is a very dark grey almost black. It can be changed by painting it with the correct type of paint. <br>
The terrace has the original tiles and the architects advise not to change these. Extending the apartment is only possible with a glass and metal structure. <br>
Annual tax 590 pesos and monthly expenses are 160 pesos right now.
